Branded content production for companies that need films with a broadcast finish
Branded content is a film made for a company, with a story sturdy enough to hold attention after the logo appears. Blazing Sand Studios produces branded films and campaign packages for organisations that want more than a cut-down advertisement: narrative films, hospitality and entertainment pieces, and multi-version campaign families finished to a broadcast standard. We are an Abu Dhabi-registered, Dubai-based production company, founded in 2019 and registered with the Creative Media Authority in Abu Dhabi as GID Global Media Production. Paris Norriss, CEO and Executive Producer, leads the company from our headquarters at twofour54 Yas Creative Hub and our main office at Upside Living 2507, Business Bay, Dubai. Named commercial clients we can mention are Rebel Entertainment, Tadbeer and Rotana Hotels. We will not invent others.
What branded content means on this page
A television commercial asks for a sale in a fixed number of seconds. A documentary asks a question the audience can follow to the end. Branded content sits between those forms: it has to carry a company's purpose without collapsing into a list of claims, and it has to be honest enough that the people inside the company still recognise themselves. That is why we treat branded films as productions rather than as decorations around a slogan.
The same craft that shapes our adventure and destination television — Guy in Dubai, Guy in the Sky, and the feature documentary 39 Days to Paradise — is the standard we bring to company films. Viewers can tell when a sequence was designed as a story and when it was assembled from stock and a logo sting. For hospitality, entertainment and destination-adjacent brands, that difference is the whole point of commissioning a film.
We do not claim that every branded piece we make is later placed with a streamer. When a brief does include placement ambitions, our distribution team works with broadcasters, streaming platforms and airlines across 123 countries. Verified platforms include Amazon Prime, Apple TV and OSN. Those credits describe windows our slate has reached. They are not automatically attached to every commercial client named on this page.
What we produce for companies
- Hero brand films. Signature pieces for a launch, a rebrand or a year-defining campaign.
- Campaign families. A long film plus shorter cuts that share colour, music direction and casting cues, so paid social does not look like a different company.
- Hospitality and entertainment films. Property, experience and audience pieces — with Rotana Hotels among the hospitality clients we can name, and Rebel Entertainment among entertainment clients.
- Corporate narrative films. Company stories that need more room than an internal memo and more craft than a talking-head recording. Tadbeer is among the commercial clients we can name in this wider group.
- Hybrid live-action and AI packages. When volume, language versions or variations are part of the brief, AI video production can extend a live-action master without inventing a place the crew never visited.
- Supporting stills and trailers. Assets planned during production so the campaign is not reverse-engineered from a single hero export.
Related pages include hospitality video production, destination film production and series production when a brand wants episodic work rather than a single film.
Why companies hire a CMA-registered production company
Branded films fail in two predictable ways. They are either too timid — a sequence of smiles that could belong to anyone — or too invented, promising an experience the company cannot actually offer. A production company that already delivers programmes to broadcasters is useful here because the editorial habits are the same: be specific, be accurate, and finish the file so it survives real QC.
In the UAE we can also handle film fixing and filming permits when the brand film needs real locations. Eligible UAE shoots may access a rebate of up to 35% of UAE spend when they qualify. We help clients understand that process; we do not present it as a guaranteed saving.
Multi-language delivery, where required, uses our verified language list: English, Arabic, Urdu, Turkish and Farsi. Additional languages are not assumed. If a campaign needs more than one of those versions, the language plan belongs in the treatment, with named reviewers for meaning and on-screen spelling.
How a branded content production typically runs
- Purpose. What the film must change in the viewer — awareness, trust, recruitment, hospitality preference — and where it will play.
- Treatment. Narrative approach, the evidence the story is allowed to use, and the authenticity boundary between real and illustrative imagery.
- Access. Locations, contributors, permits and brand-approval routes agreed before the shoot or generation begins.
- Production. Live action, AI-directed sequences, or a hybrid plan matched to the brief.
- Finish. Edit, sound, colour and versions for each intended placement.
- Delivery. Masters, captions and a rights record the company can file.
Paris Norriss remains accountable across that chain as CEO and Executive Producer. For companies used to splitting creative, production and finishing across several vendors, one CMA-registered partner reduces the number of places a detail can get lost.
What we will not do on a brand film
We will not invent client names. Rebel Entertainment, Tadbeer and Rotana Hotels are the commercial clients we can list here. We will not invent testimonials, awards or view counts for branded work. We will not use AI to fake a destination, a hotel, or a product detail that needs to be accurate. We will not promise that a brand film will be acquired by Amazon Prime, Apple TV or OSN. Those platforms have carried work from our slate; acquisition is a separate conversation.
If the brief is better served as a documentary, go to documentary production. If it is better served as a short performance ad, go to AI commercials. Branded content is the right page when the company needs a film with narrative room and a finish that can sit beside broadcast work.
Preparing a branded content brief
A useful brief starts with the audience and the action, not with a reference film the company liked last year. Who should watch this, what should they understand, and what should they do next? Separate the campaign message from the supporting information that belongs on a website or a sales deck. A film that tries to carry every product detail usually carries none of them well.
Prepare an approval map. Identify who signs off brand identity, factual claims, legal language and, where relevant, cultural context. One consolidated route for feedback is more valuable than parallel comments from several departments. Any opening dates, prices, or operational details shown on screen should have a named source and a review date, so an attractive sequence does not publish information that will be wrong before the campaign ends.
Decide the family of versions at the start: hero length, social cut-downs, a cut for events or internal use, and any language versions. List the claims that must not change during visual development, and the images that must remain accurate — a building, a uniform, a product interface. If contributors will appear, note what they have agreed to say and how their approval will work. This turns a request for “a brand film” into a production that can be scheduled, budgeted and reviewed without surprises.
When you are ready, [Start a project →] with that audience note, the intended placements and any references that show the tone you want — not as something to copy, but as a way to talk about pace and restraint.
